Wooligan Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Wooligan mobile application (“Wooligan” or the “App”).

Wooligan is developed and operated by RTM INOVASYON MEDIKAL IC DIS TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI.

1. Our Privacy Approach

Wooligan is designed as a local-first application.

This means that:

• You do not need to create an account or sign in to use the App.
• Your knitting projects, yarn inventory, patterns, counters, and related project data are primarily stored directly on your device.
• Wooligan does not operate a server that stores or processes this user-generated project content.
• If you delete the App, locally stored application data may also be permanently removed from your device.

Some third-party services used by Wooligan may process limited technical information as described below.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Wooligan itself does not collect personal information such as:

• Your name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Precise location
• User account credentials
• The content of your knitting projects
• Your yarn inventory
• Your knitting patterns
• Photos stored as part of your local projects

These types of project data are intended to remain on your device and are not uploaded to Wooligan-operated servers.

3. Information Processed on Your Device

Certain Wooligan features may process information locally on your device.

Pattern Dictionary / OCR

If you use Wooligan’s OCR functionality to recognize text from pattern images, text recognition may be performed using Google ML Kit technology. The relevant image processing is designed to take place on the device.

3D Model Analysis

If you import supported 3D model files, such files may be analyzed locally on your device in order to generate or assist with knitting-related instructions.

Wooligan does not intentionally upload these files to its own servers for processing.

4. Third-Party Services

Wooligan may use third-party services that process limited technical data independently under their own privacy policies.

Google AdMob

The free version of Wooligan may display advertisements using Google AdMob.

Google may process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, and other technical information for purposes including advertising delivery, fraud prevention, measurement, and analytics.

Google’s handling of such information is governed by Google’s own privacy policies.

App Store and Google Play Purchases

If you purchase a Wooligan Pro feature, subscription, or other in-app product, the payment transaction is processed by the relevant platform provider, such as:

• Apple App Store
• Google Play

Wooligan does not directly receive or store your complete credit card or payment credentials.

Payment information is handled by the applicable store provider according to its own terms and privacy policies.

5. Children’s Privacy

Wooligan is intended for a general audience and is not specifically designed for children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13, or under the applicable minimum age required by local law.

6. Data Storage and Deletion

Wooligan project data is primarily stored locally on your device.

You may delete your information by:

• Deleting individual projects, patterns, yarn records, counters, or other items within the App, where such functionality is available; or
• Uninstalling the Wooligan application from your device.

Because Wooligan does not require a user account and does not maintain a server-side account database for this project data, there is generally no separate Wooligan account deletion process required.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your country or region, you may have privacy rights under applicable laws, including rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other forms of control over personal data.

Because Wooligan’s primary project data is stored locally, much of this control can be exercised directly through your device and the App.

For information processed independently by third-party providers such as Google, you should also refer to the privacy controls and policies provided by those companies.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to design Wooligan in a way that limits unnecessary collection of personal information.

However, no mobile device, software system, or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their devices, operating systems, passwords, and device backups.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Wooligan, legal requirements, or third-party services.

When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date shown at the top of this page.
